Dimensional Signage made for
Storefront Visibility
Channel letters are individually formed letters, numbers or logo elements mounted to a building or raceway. Their depth gives the sign a substantial architectural appearance, while LED illumination can keep the brand visible after dark. They are a proven choice for retail stores, restaurants, shopping centers, offices and other customer-facing locations.
Every channel letter system should be designed around the brand and the building. Davis Signs considers letter depth, stroke width, viewing distance, wall material, mounting requirements, electrical access and local sign code before fabrication begins.
Channel Letter Lighting Options
Front-Lit Channel Letters
Light shines through the face of each letter for a bright, highly visible presentation. This is one of the most common options for retail and restaurant storefronts.
Reverse-Lit Channel Letters
Also called halo-lit letters, these signs cast light onto the wall behind each letter. The result is a refined glow that works especially well for professional offices and premium brands.
Combination-Lit Channel Letters
Front and reverse illumination can be combined to create additional depth and visual impact.
Non-Illuminated Channel Letters
Dimensional letters can also be fabricated without internal lighting when the property has strong ambient lighting or the brand calls for a simpler presentation.
Raceway or Direct Mounting
Channel letters may be mounted individually to the building or attached to a raceway that contains the wiring and electrical components. The right method depends on the wall construction, landlord requirements, sign code and desired appearance. Our team can help determine the most practical solution for the site.
