A Permanent Landmark for Your Property
Monument signs provide high-impact identification near entrances, roadways and property boundaries. Their low-profile, architectural construction gives businesses and developments a substantial presence while keeping messaging easy to read from approaching vehicles.
Davis Signs designs monument signs for single businesses, office campuses, residential developments, schools, churches, healthcare facilities and multi-tenant properties. Each sign is developed around the site, landscaping, visibility, brand and local code requirements.
Monument Sign Styles and Materials
Monument signs can be built in a wide range of styles, from clean contemporary structures to designs that reflect masonry and architectural finishes found on the property. Options may include:
Internally illuminated sign cabinets
Dimensional letters and logos
Routed metal or composite panels
Stone, brick or stucco-style bases
Changeable tenant panels
Electronic message centers
Decorative caps, reveals and accents
Single-Tenant and Multi-Tenant Solutions
For a single business, a monument sign can become a prominent brand statement. For shopping centers, offices and other multi-tenant properties, it can organize multiple tenant names within a consistent sign system. We consider panel hierarchy, future tenant changes, line length and viewing time when developing the layout.
Site Planning Matters
Placement can be just as important as the sign itself. Sight triangles, setbacks, utilities, landscaping, grade, traffic direction and underground conditions can all affect the project. Davis Signs can help evaluate these factors, prepare permit documentation and coordinate the fabrication and installation process.
Illumination and Digital Messaging
Monument signs may include internal LED lighting, externally illuminated elements or an integrated electronic message center. Our team can recommend a lighting and messaging approach based on operating hours, communication needs and municipal rules.
